Unusual conditions on the AM band locally last night

Conditions around 10PM last evening were quite unusual in the southern NH
area.

Even two/three hours after sunset, conditions were almost mid-day like.

WJIB AM740 Cambridge with their 4 or 5 watts was dominent over a very weak
unID'd station (probably Toronto). An ID exactly at 10:00:00.00 PM with an
English speaking male with a Jamaican accent.

The all but one of the graveyarders (1230,1240,1400,1450,1490, not 1340)
were coming in with but one dominent signal. In the case of 1450 both Concord
NH and Newburyport MA were the two signals heard. At night these channels are
usually trashed with about six stations all piling atop each other.

WBNW 1120AM Concord MA was coming in good, with KMOX totally absent. I've
never heard WBNW after St.Louis sunset until last night.

After about 10:30pm the band started getting very noisy with static below
1000 kHz

I did manage to hear WBAL 1090 in Baltimore, but it was very weak.
