A couple other enduring announcers come to mind: Wayne Braverman has been doing Old Tyme Radio Theatre (Sunday 6-10pm) on WJUL (91.5 Lowell) for more than 20 years. Jack Beard has hosted The Folk Show (Sunday 10am-noon) on WUNH (91.3 Durham NH) since the '70s, although I believe there were a few years in there somewhere when he wasn't doing the show.
