IIRC, WPAA did up to 25 watts in the early 1980s. I understand that
most of their programming is a dead carrier. Nice beat and you can
dance to it. Ironically, WJUL (91.5 Lowell) had to become _very_
creative in not only it's original directional FM configuration but in
its now current signal in order that it protect the ("My daddy works at
the FCC") prep school.
