Bob was remarking this morning that the guy-wire towers are the ones that 
fall down, not the four-legged variety.  But the WBZ-TV tower which was 
blown down by Hurricane Carol in 1954 was a four-legged free-standing 
tower.  The auxiliary radio tower which is still standing is also a four-
legged tower, which was guy-wired after the TV tower fell.  In fact, Scott 
once showed me where one of the guy-wires is attached to one remaining leg 
of the old TV tower.
