I would say he is VERY important to WBZ.

He is appointment radio for many listeners...and a good 'branding' element
to the WBZ lineup.

Secondly...even if WBZ found they could do without him on their
station....it's almost as important to keep him OFF of another station that
might indeed put him to good use...

I think WBZ is trying to still be the primary affiliate for ABC....they run
the spots....they run PH...and they get first crack at anything ABC has to
offer.  (And first crack at keeping it away from other stations!)
