        My brother's Alpine was at least ten years old, so it may not
reflect what they're making now. Without comparing them, I guess I'm just
saying I think a Sony like the two I've had over the past ten years is a
good bet to have good AM. No matter what you have, if your car is a few
years old, it also pays to clean up the connection between the antenna and
the car or even get a new antenna after awhile.
