Would they print it if it weren't true?



According to today's Portland Press Herald, the switch is on.

     to be honest, one thing that sells well for radio, when properly 
packaged, is sports.  and to be able to provide an outlet for hearing the 
actual games after the sun goes down is a welcome thing for me.  (although, 
if they'd like to, i wouldn't object to them keeping the Red Sox on the am 
only...  arrrgggggh.  "they" did it to us again.)

   again, though.  i'm a "sucker" for good rock n roll.  and the 95.5 rock 
format did offer a variety not found on any other station in maine; it was a 
mix of classic standards (Green Grass & High Tides) and local music; a 
combination of bird-fed programming and some local hosts spinning their own 
unique flavors.
    damn.  i hate getting "duped" like this.
