   WIRY carries the Yankees' games,and has done so for at least 10 years
that I know of. I have airchecks from the first time I visited the Lake
Champlain area in July of 1990, and they had the Yankees then, along with
their wide variety of music, local police log news, and my favorite, the
"Lost and Found" show, where folks are invited to call in if they've lost
or found a dog, cat, eyeglasses, license plates, or the best one of all,
the parakeet sitting on the window ledge at the Howard Johnson's Restaurant
(all on tape for posterity!!).
