I remember listening to WBZ in Amherst in the mid-60s.  It was fine in the 
daytime.  At night, it sometimes came in fairly well, other times not so 
well.  I often wished WBZA were still around, though I'm not sure its 1000-
watt signal would have made much difference in Amherst.
