legal Top-of-the-Hour ID's ... old WBZ

I have a picture of Dave Maynard in the old air studio at WBZ taken in the
late 60's.  On the wall over the glass partition between Dave and the
engineer is the station's legal ID written on a sign in magic marker.  In
red it says "Legal ID over mx bed", then in black in quotes,
"Listen Here! This is WBZ, Radio One-O-Three, Group W, Westinghouse
Broadcasting for Boston"

I remember hearing that every hour...verbatim....over the brassy ID music
that led into the "Stand By for News....First, Fast & Factual......" intro.

The call sign and COL are miles apart....but they got away with it for
years!
