That would have been during the 80's and I'm pretty darned sure that was
only on weekends.  NPR didn't provide a Saturday morning news magazine
(Weekend Edition) until November 1985 and didn't offer its Sunday
companion until January 1987, so quite a few stations across the country
used that 5 hours of classical music from WGBH to fill their weekend
morning schedules.
