Well, it depends.  Generally speaking, I don't listen to a talk show
because I'm interested in what Joe from Malden has to say; I listen to
a talk show because I'm interested in what the guest has to say.  (In
fact, I normally won't countenance call-in shows on my radio.)
Perhaps as more shows accept questions from the 'net, upon which the
host (or producer) exercises more editorial judgment, I'll listen
more.
