Robert "Bob" Lemire, also known as "Southern Vermont's Duke of Rock and Roll" died unexpectedly Friday evening, January 21, 2000, at Brattleboro Memorial. He hosted the Friday night oldies show "Remember Then" on Brattleboro's WKVT-FM (92.7) for nearly 15 years. He was 59.
