Actually, Radio Disney cleans up the lyrics on their music pretty
thoroughly before the songs hit the air. Teen artists even re-cut
versions of their hit songs, taking out the racier elements, to get on
RD. I have a 7 year old as well, and although I listen to WBZ from time
to time, I turn the station if they start talking about sex offenders and
murderers. As with just about any radio program, you have to keep your
ears open (pun intended) for what is appropriate.
