Re: Y2K glitch??? or just a little time travel?



I had left all but one of the computers in my office on for the New Year's 
turnover.  The one that I had shut off was the sole 486 in the office (an 
AST 486/25 Bravo).  When I booted it up yesterday it said Jan 3, 1980.  Win 
95 did allow me to change the date correctly but I don't know if the 
machine's innards are accepting it.  The various flavors of Pentiums that 
make up the remaining machines seemed to accept the new date but appeared 
rather lathargic.  They seemed to return to normal when rebooted. Then, of 
course, I had to set the date back on the accounting system to do some year 
end maintenance...
