Conn. stunting/ format change

A friend of mine in Connecticut says that WVVE FM
102.3 in Groton is now in a stunting period; they 
are running a computerized voice counting down to
an apparent format change on Tuesday at noon.
Occasionally the voice says oddball things but it
otherwise just keeps counting down.

My friend says that the station was recently bought by
the owners of WQGN and WSUB and as he understands it
the new format will NOT be rock or oldies. But who
knows. Anyone in that area had a chance to check
this out?
