I remember that, too...I met Carl deSuze once and asked him about that, and
that was essentially the same answer I got from him.  Interestingly, in the
summer of '66, Joel Cash, who later did mid-days at WRKO was the fill-in,
using Joel Cash on the air.  I have a WBZ top 30 hitlist from mid-July that
he autographed.
