AND..... could they not simply keep their VHF on top of the mountain and
erect or share a separate DTV site?
WMTW is no longer the factor in Quebec it once was, 22 in Burlington and
WCVB seem to be the choices now of most cable operators.
Sure there was a long ago time when 8 was IT for north country service, but
now when you drive up that way, everyone has a dish anyways. Eight has to
focus on Casco Bay, and the bottom line is how the signal shows up at the
cable companies head-end. Time-Warner in Portland has never been known for
spending money it doesn't have to,
