   regarding the artist rotations:  you'll hear even shorter than that on 
many stations.  as far as the sympathy for the devil thing...  look at your 
own time notations:
saturday evening guy plays the song.  while the overnight guy is coming in to 
work on the red line.  had no idea that it was played, and says "hmmmm" a 
nice long song.   it happens all the time.  for a time, WROR was recycling 
the music from the midday overnight, but the new pd, Beau Raines is running 
freshly scheduled tunes 24/7, and fine tuning the list as he goes...
