hidden treasure found (WMEX 1967 aircheck)

So this would have been some 2 months after WRKO came on the scene and will
give those of you who have only heard about WMEX some idea of what the
station was like.

Mac Richmond had some of his jocks work 7 days a week ( they would record a
show for playback at the transmitter ) and this somehow was saved.

Tuna scared WRKO and liked his work so much, locked him up for KHJ-Los
Angeles. If my memory is holding, this aircheck may be just about the time
WRKO was on strike.

The Bobby Holiday mentioned on this tape left Boston and went to CFOX in
Montreal, and then moved on to CKLW and CHUM as Duke Roberts.

In any event, a quality aircheck from a great period of Boston radio in
which sadly so little exists today.
