Payola in LA

I just saw this on CNN Interactive & hadn't noticed anyone mention it-- 

Federal officials are investigating radio programmers 
at nearly 80 stations who allegedly took bribes to 
play songs, the Los Angeles Times reported Wednesday.

They mention at the end of the article that the record company involved
is the first to be indicted under the 'payola' laws enacted in the
1950's.
