Non-radio: Boston Globe parent to buy T&G

Today's Boston Herald says the New York Times Company is set to acquire the
Worcester Telegram and Gazzette for approximately $300 million.  A source claims
the move would lock up 98% of daily newspaper readership (and the vast majority
of advertising revenue) in New England's second-largest city.  The article
indicates this would likely *not* result in any successful anti-trust claim.  
Why the hell not, I ask???  And if newspaper/television cross-ownership
regulations are relaxed, as the newspaper industry is presently lobbying hard
for, watch out...
