Shaughnessy, Ryan & Borges banned from Big Show

So what's with Dan Shaughnessy, Bob Ryan and Ron Borges being forbidden by 
the Globe from being on WEEI's "The Big Show" with Glenn Ordway?  Do any of 
you know anything more about what brought this about?  The reports in both 
the Globe and the Herald were somewhat vague, mentioning that the Globe's 
management considers the Big Show offensive, but not specifying why 
management had suddenly taken this stand.  Tonight on the PBS media 
criticism show with Emily Rooney (I think it's called "Greater Boston"?), 
the panel was equally puzzled about why the Big Show was singled out, when 
other shows are equally gross or offensive or whatever, yet the three 
sportswriters were not barred from any of them.
