Is there a new Ch.23 somewheres in Southern New England--likely a
translator--carrying PaxNet.
I've seen in the data bases that WMPX-23 up in Waterville ME is due on,
but it don't seem to follow the other ME signals and it was coming in a
bit last night when there was no sign of ME, but Providence and--to a
lesser extent--Cape Cod were in strong: Has WPXQ-69, Block Island
turned on a Ch.23 translator, perhaps? There is also a LPTV listed on
Ch.23 up in Hampton NH (but that's apparently been on for a couple of
years-?).
I first noted it last Wednesday afternoon (Aug 25).
On an unrelated note, WHSH-DT appears to be on and off air for the last
couple of weeks (which was what had me scrutinizing Ch.23 to begin
with).
