Peter Orne, the owner of WMCM and WRKD in Rockland, was killed in a plane crash yesterday. He was the former owner of WABI Bangor and former GM of WVII-TV Bangor. The small plane Orne was piloting crashed yesterday afternoon on an island off the Maine coast. ------------------------------
