Cellphone talk numbers

How do those arrangements work?  WRKO, for instance, has *680 (rings
to talk line) with cellone as does WBZ with *1030 (which triggers
traffic).  Do carriers get exclusives with stations, since I don't
know of a joint arrangement with BAM or AT&T Wireless.  SmarTraveler
can be accessed by *1 with either BAM or CellOne, so it is workable.

It does seem like a brilliant approach to filling up the drive time
lines.  What is next...  *969 ?  <blush OFF>
