This is the same Upton Bell who drives around with his name painted on the side
of his car and can only get a job working for Bernard Langer.  I wouldn't give
too much creedence to what he pontificates.

As far as sports radio is concerned, I doubt that WEEI will dump sports talk.
WEEI still outbills most stations in Boston and although it may not be as
profitable as Entercom would like, it still brings in more revenue than any
other station they own in the market.

I agree that Francesca and Russo are good sports talkers, but they are the
exceptions to the rule in sports talk.  Ordway simply needs a strong PD to
force some structure into his program.  Having 4 people screaming over
eachother simply is not good radio.  Ordway needs to have one co-host and
should follow a strict format to make it work.  That being said, Ordway is
still better than most of the local talent doing sports talk around the
country.
