My job took me to Lancaster NH today so I had a chance to check out Kiss
102: "WXXS-FM, 102.3, Lancaster-Whitefield-St. Johnsbury and
Lyndonville."
The programming didn't impress me--unannounced AC--but the spot load
did.  The sales department is certainly doing its job.  I'd say about 80
percent of the spots were voiced by one guy, all straight reads.  The
same voice was on weather, IDs, and a fair portion of the liners.  What
really bugged me was I knew that voice from somewhere but couldn't put a
name on it.  When I got home I looked up WXXS and there it was: Barry
Lunderville.  Bottom line: if you love listening to Lunderville's
locution, look into locating in Lancaster.
