Not necessarily.  Both 28 and 38 are owned by Viacom.  (UPN is a
partnership split 50-50 between Cris-Craft Industries' United
Television division and the Viacom; together the two companies own
most of the large-market UPN stations.  Yes, that's Cris-Craft as in
the boat builder.  By contrast, the WB is majority-owned by
Time-Warner, but TW's only broadcast TV property AFAIK is the
non-WB-affiliated WTBS in Atlanta.  Tribune, which owns the
major-market WB affils, holds a minority stake in the WB.)

Nope.  While it's entirely possible that Bristol-Myers and Viacom
share directors and are owned by some of the same mutual funds, it's
unlikely that this deal has anything to do with ownership (other than
their common love of the green stuff).
