And, since WLWC-28 is also UPN, I'd say it's a network thing with
Tylenol: Given all these cross-industry corporate conglomerates, could
UPN and Tylenol share some ownership thread?

Not necessarily--it may be "rented".
I remember a few years ago someone called up Bruce Williams, asking why
TalkNet got rid of the old program theme, and he answered that the
owners of the theme music either revoked the license or demanded a
higher royalty (I don't remember which), so TalkNet told them to stuff
it, and they recorded their own package.
Likewise, I remember the theme used by Bob Brinker's "MoneyTalk" was
originally Tom Snyder's radio show theme--though they are/were both ABC
packages (?), so they (ABC) may own it.
