No, most stations don't get it.  If they did, they'd pre-$ell storm coverage
and make a ton of unexpected revenue from enterprising advertisers.
Besides, drawing added listeners on a special occasion, even if smartly
presented, leads to disappointment later when some of the throngs come back
another day only to yawn.

Now _THAT's_ cynicism!
