Re: Radio News
The Two Chicks covered the Iraq bombings during their
first two hours (7-9 pm), and Tai also used his first
two hours to cover that subject. Each of them went to
lighter topics in the final hour of their shows.
WRKO is now running promos saying that "while the 'news' station was
running hockey, we were bringing
you the news-- and talking about it!" (a dig at
WBZ radio).
WBZ probably figures that most of the news audience
listens during the daytime, so they shift to talk from
7 pm to 5 am. And as has been said on this group,
their contract with the Bruins means they must
carry those games.
