And it's not uncommon for stations with more than one tower to use separate
sensors for each tower. I long ago lost count of the number of times I've
seen directional AMs on cloudy days with some towers lit and some not--and
that was before the rule that allows stations to not illuminate towers that
are relatively close to other towers.
