One of Glenn's friends is Ted (Red Sox) Williams...Ted was on hand to see
the liftoff at the Cape. I wonder if Ted did to Glenn what he at least once
did to fans at Fenway Park when they booed him?
But yes, it was a terrific broadcast, and what a great time to use Mr.
Cronkite, especially as CBS gave him the cold shoulder the day he retired.
