Other past Albany pirates?

A fellow radio enthusiast in this market asked me what pirates the
Albany-Schenectady-Troy, N.Y. market has seen in the past. I told him I
only knew of a person a few months ago saying they heard a pirate on (I
think) 88.7 FM at a comic book convention at the Omni Hotel in Downtown
Albany. If that person is reading this, I, and I'm sure others, would
appreciate it if you could tell what you heard at that convention on this
pirate station.
However, I just thought of something. When I would drive over I-90 from our
house (south of Albany) to the radio station I interned at this summer (on
the west end of Albany), I found a strange station coming in on 107.3 FM.
It would run onto WHTR, 107.1 FM, from Hudson Falls, and would be running
standards in mono. It would come in at around the Arbor Hill exit, and
would last for no longer than a mile. When I drove past the same spot last
Sunday, the signal seemed to be coming through, but the music was breaking
out. All in all, odd. The only legal and licensed stations near us on
107.3 are WRCK Utica, N.Y., WRWD Highland, N.Y., WAAF Worcester, Mass., and
CITE Montreal, Quebec. Depending on the trops and/or where I am, any of
these station can come through, but none are standards or normally run in
mono.
