In fairness to WBZ, they were all over this story all day.  They had
regular updates from BOTH their CBS and ABC feeds, and they talked to Vic
Ratner in Washington about the speaker's future.  

Of course, the place it really becomes a problem is when there is a hockey
game and a major story breaks...

Btw, I hear Brudnoy's health is improving and he will be back on the air
again soon.  Otoh, I would love to hear more of Jack Williams in that time
slot-- he really does do a fine job as a talk host.
