RE: First Record & Radio



First radio: a rocket-shaped crystal set (about 1959).  Think I picked up
WHDH and WBZ with it.  Second was a GE transistor that was with me until
1969.  I used to listen to WMEX and WBZ overnight under my pillow in the
early sixties, then when we moved to Colorado Springs in 1967, I could hear
WBZ loud and clear at night.
