I tried the same sort of thing without leaving my cubicle at work. Dozens of
stations broadcasting "live" on the Internet via streaming audio. Yuck! Not
only does RealAudio do a decent imitiation of AM DX with the fades,
distortion, and total dropouts, but NONE of the programming was worth the
powder to blow it to hell.

The megalopolies that own these stations obviously don't get it, but the
total absence of anything even slightly compelling in their product is bound
to drive the audience to CDs or DVDs or whatever. Radio? Does anyone
remember radio? Now, there's no "there" there.
