WNBP sold

Win Damon owner of WNBP Newburyport has announced the sale of the
station to a group called Radio Newburyport. The group is a
partnership between Robert Fuller (of Fuller-Jeffreys Broadcasting)
and Al Mozier (an employee of F-J). Win Damon will stay on as Sales
Manager and morning host, Mozier will be Station Manager. No other
staff or format changes have been announced.
FCC approval and closing is expected in October.
An interesting note is that Fuller, a Newburyport native, started his
radio career at WNBP as a 16 year old board op in 1957 the day the
station signed on.
