 FYI, on or about August 10, The Family Channel becomes The F_O_X_ 
Family Channel. It will supposedly be a kid-oriented channel, featuring
among other things the new Captain Kangaroo. (As if the original isn't
good enough) 
 To this end, it appears the Fam Chan will be dumping its current
schedule, including (IMO) the best program on daytime television.
The Home and Family Show. 
 Too bad there's no place for a show that informs and uplifts. And you
come away from two hours of watching it with something that made your
life a bit better or made you think about one thing or another.
