The station was put into receivership back in 1991 or '92 (if memory serves me
correctly). Before the fire and receivership, I can remember the station
broadcasting lots of local programming -- high school sports and a Saturday
morning sports show among them. Once the fire came, the station wasn't able to
get its signal past Salem (on a good day) because of the restrictions it had
to deal with, and it has been running 125 watts since.
