WBOS New Music Flies

I've noticed one change on 92.9.  The Sunday morning "WBOS New Music
File" (7-9am) has moved to a 9am start with a new name..."The WBOS New
Music Show."  Matt Phipps still hosts.

I started listening to this program about 4 years ago.  In those
pre-River (ante fluvial?) days, WBOS was the commercial station whose
"currents" most closely matched my tastes.  The problem in listening to
their regular programming was that I had to listen to all those songs
from the '70s and '80s that I'd already heard lebenty million times just
to hear one or two new tracks per hour.  I was delighted to learn I
could hear all their current cuts in one two-hour session Sunday
mornings and to this day that's all the time-spent-listening WBOS gets
out of me each week.
