  WCOP's last moment of glory came in the fall of 1967 when they had
exclusive radio coverage of the 1967 World Series between the Red Sox and
St Louis. 

  The switch to country came in the spring of 1968 and they started using
the Lexington transmitter as a full time studio. One of the WMEX "good
guys"..who used Dan Donovan at WMEX was the night time country jock for a
few years, his name escapes me.
