I agree with you Donna, it is commendable to allow such opportunity to some
who would never get on the air. While I don't know Chinese and would never
listen to it on WJIB, I liked the college stuff when I caught it when it was
on. It wasn't bad programming and the kids seemed really into doing air when I
listened. Even though the signal is small at night, I easily got it both here
in the North End (where a lot of stronger evening signals don't even come in,
for some strange reason), as well as at home in Mission Hill, so there is
decent urban coverage at night.
