Subject: WNFT, WAAF, etc.

Since one of our newsgroup members, in reporting the WNFT switch to a
satellite urban A/C format, said "WAAF may not need the simulcast anymore
becaue of a new transmitter" (or words to that effect)....

How about this scenario?

Since CBS will apparantly be wlloed to keep 98.5, Uncle Mel blows-up Mix
98.5 and moves the WAAF call-letters and format to 98.5, while 107.3's
license and transmitter (but NOT the WAAF call-letters or format) get
 spun-off.

This way, WAAF will finally get a very strong signal right in Boston, which
would be great for 'AAF's target audience of college-age males.

Besides, I think there are enough differences musically between WAAF
and WBCN that the two can complement each other, rather than compete.

TYPO: The first line of paragraph # 2 should read "Since CBS will apparantly
 be allowed to keep 98.5...".
