How could I have forgotten?

Shadoe Stevens guest-hosted the late 1980's "Hollywood Squares" a couple of
 times during a year (during sweeps weeks, no less!) so that regular emcee
 John Davidson could take a turn as a panelist, answering questions rather
 than asking them.

I wonder if the producers of the new "Squares" will bring in a guest-host
 for a week's worth of shows to allow Tom Bergeron to be a panelist. And
 if they do, would they give Tom the "hard-quiz" questions?
