PBS; WEEI/WRKO

The head of PBS flagship WNET/New York was on the Today Show this
morning hawking his book decrying the bottom-line mentality of
commercial television. Meanwhile, today's Boston Globe was
reporting on an upcoming series to air on 130 public television
stations nationwide consisting of entrepreneurs hawking their
companies to an audience of potential investors. I laughed so hard
I almost tossed my breakfast.

And today's Globe also reports that WEEI/WRKO will abandon its own
play-by-play coverage of New England Revolution away games in favor
of simulcasting Fox Sports New England's audio.

Take care,

Chris
