  While growing up in the late 70's/early '80's south of Boston there were only
TWO AM signals that mattered (in the ears of my family, anyways). In order of
importance: 1030 WBZ and 850 WHDH. The radio in the house was usually set to
1030 (or an FM music station) and in the car it was ALWAYS 850. We never had a
car with FM radio until 1983...
