Here's the story from the Globe:
TV/RADIO NOTEBOOK
Putting on a show
One-On-One Sports out of Chicago, which owns WNRB (1510 AM) in Boston, will
have a local show, ''Sports of Call,'' beginning April 6 from The Fours
restaurant and sports bar in Quincy.
Mike Adams, who recently left New England Cable News after six years, and
Jack Farrell will co-host, with interviews of athletes and coaches and
telephone calls from listeners. It will air weekdays from 7-9 p.m.
''This is local, off-the-wall sports talk,'' said Mike Wheeler, general
manager of One-On-One Sports in Boston. ''It's going to be a fun show, and
that's what our station is all about. It's as though a bunch of guys are
sitting in a bar discussing sports.''
One-On-One Sports is the nation's largest live 24-hour sports talk radio
network, with more than 11 million listeners each week. There are more than
350 affiliates, with four of them owned and operated by One-On-One - in New
York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Boston.
