Subject: Is The Mouse Coming?

About the spinoffs CBS will have to make of several Boston stations......

How about...THE MOUSE?

Assuming that CBS does spin-off WRKO, WEEI, WEGQ-FM, and WAAF (perhaps with
 WVEI-AM Worcester), this would seem a ready-made group for...Disney/ABC!

The mMouse would get a talk station, a sports station (and the return of
 The Not-So-Fabulous-Sports Babe--all four hours of her!), and a couple
 of FM stations at least (though I suspect The Mouse will change WEGQ's
 format very quickly upon acquitision). It might make a nice little
 broadcasting group, especially if they also purchase WPZE-1260 (to bring
 their Radio Disney children's network affiliate in-house) and spend
 $700-$900 million to buy WCVB-TV 5 (the ABC-TV affiliate), and then to
 build a state-of-the-art broadcast complex to house all their stations!

Besides, Disney/ABC has had considerable success with talk formats (e.g.
 WABC, KABC, WLS, KGO, etc.) and are parents of ESPN, which could boost
 WEEI.
